The investigative judgment is a unique Seventh-day Adventist doctrine, which asserts that the divine judgment of professed Christians has been in progress since 1844. It is intimately related to the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was described by the church’s prophet and pioneer Ellen G. White as one of the pillars of Adventist belief.
There is a great danger in the way we have been personally operating and functioning as individuals. We could be hurting ourselves without realizing it when we listen to stories
Why are some professed Christians, who seem to have been worshiping God, worshiping Jesus Christ for a long time, still have not changed into acting and behaving like Jesus? Could it be that they are still worshiping other gods?
Abstention is not good! It is bad! When a spiritual matter is before you, and you need to take a stand, but if you decline to vote for or against a proposal or motion, when your practice is to restrain oneself from indulging in something spiritual, you are behaving like the Laodicean.
We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. Accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
Recently I noticed that there is a point of attack against Christians, that the Devil is using in the last days of earth’s history, and it seems to have a high degree of success. This point of attack I called the “Soft-Spot”, which is our feelings.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Divorce is Satan’s method of destroying what God had put together. Jesus again reiterates that it is sinful to orchestrate divorce plans against your spouse. God creates and joins us together, but Satan comes to break, steal and destroy.
One person believes it is all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who do not. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.
Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). Transgress is to do something that is not allowed. Now, who set the rules of this something?
In the last days of earth history, the evidence of unequally yoked unions will manifest itself more and more and in various forms. The main focus will be a cry for the lack of family or spousal time over the works of God. The underlying objectives are to restrict the commands of God – to go into all the world, teach, preach, and baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.
I want to show you something that the Lord – Jesus Christ has revealed to me a few days ago. This information is very touching; I did not realize the importance of the impact of these activities until the Lord showed me what is going on.
“For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.“ From my observation of society, how they operate, I came to the realization that the real root of all kinds of evil is selfishness.
Most people are not aware as to why they are here on this earth. They know that their mother gave birth to their existence, but other than that, they don’t know the purpose of their existence.
The wages of sin is death. Everlasting fire, eternal fire are fires that consume – burn things to nothing. Gone forever, everlastingly gone, eternally disappeared. That is the same as eternal punishment. These terms: everlasting and eternal show a deep expression of continued existence or disappearance.
The Kingdom of God is the kingdom of the Resurrected Ones! Jesus told his disciples this: “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.” They will get a glimpse of resurrected individuals as well as Jesus himself when he is resurrected.
I discovered that there is a predominant characteristic with the forces of evil that is different from God’s people: Evildoers fight and are always seeking to dominate and gain the topmost power at all cost, while Godly people are peaceful, kind and not selfish; they think of serving others.
The Holy Spirit will testify of Jesus and when we are touched by the Holy Spirit, we will also testify of Jesus. Paul also reminded us that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from a prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, these people were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God (2 Peter 1:20-21).
One night I dreamt that I was in a small countryside where there is hardly any transportation. The only bus out of that town had left on scheduled and the next one could be hours away.
