Am I Evil?

I discovered that there is a predominant characteristic with the forces of evil that is different from God’s people: Evildoers fight and are always seeking to dominate and gain the topmost power at all cost, while Godly people are peaceful, kind and not selfish; they think of serving others.

When one-third of the Evil angels were kicked out of heaven and came to Earth, they continued to influence humans with their evil propensities. Here on Earth they constantly engage themselves and others in adversarial activities: fighting, arguing, competing, and contending with each other. They also enter into humans and use them to carry out the same evil activities. These activities are evident in all of our sporting games.

The activities that are involved in the game of sport are typical to the nature of Evil angels. If you analyze each type of game, you will come up with one conclusion, and that is, each player while contending with each other on the opposing team, strives to be the most powerful and winner of the game. Victory is the objective of each team, but one wins while the other team grieves over losing the game. Sports are activities that promote evil tendencies. Some sports like boxing are very violent, but no matter how subtle the game may appear, the objectives are the same, to be the winner.

While sports may be an organized evil activity, humans perform the same activities fighting, arguing, and contending with each other without being in an organized game. The ones who argue most of the time are exercising evil activities. Crimes and violence are aspects of the same evil objectives. When a person attacks another person or families to do them harm, it is evil demons that are behind these thoughts. It is not normal for demons to be peaceful or quiet. Their nature is to contend, fight, and create arguments.

There is an organized force in this world that consists of humans who are geared to perpetuate evil continually. They use the media and entertainment industries to train and cultivate evildoers by showing violent movies. These trainings start early with babies by exposing them to violent or quasi-violent cartoons movies. As the babies grow older, the training continues and is reinforced by sports and more violent movies. The evil activities learned from the constant bombardment of fighting, killing, and injuring others are most times acted out amongst strangers and individuals that we don’t like.

Even when there are no means to facilitate movies, the cultivating of evil actions is put forward by gossiping, lying, deceiving and showing envious tendencies to provoke animosities amongst ourselves. These actions create cliques, gangs, and racially divided societies – groups who are bent on eliminating the contending group. Because these bias thoughts cultivate a sense of fear, the perceived answer to reduce the fear is to fight and destroy the other groups.

Jesus understood what the demon’s intentions are when they are contending with you, so he cautioned us in Matthew 5:39 when he said “But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also.” If you resist, then you will be doing what they want – a fight. By not resisting evil, you have nullified their evil activities. When someone criticized or accused us wrongfully, we should not respond likewise with cursing and quarreling. As Christians, we must act opposite to an evil person’s action, and that is to show that you are not a fighter; you do not perpetrate violence.

Sadly, today many individuals are involved in evil activities when we argue with each other in the homes or at meetings; when we participate in verbal or physical fighting; when we are being trained by TV and movies with acts of violence; when we hate each other and contend with our enemies. Jesus said in Matthew 15:18-20 that “The words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander.” These evil thoughts are bent on fostering fighting, arguing, and contending one with another: the continuous effort of being rebellious.

We must understand what is going on in this world; how the Devil is controlling our actions. We must recognize the spirit of evil and how to annul evil actions with love, affirmation, and humility. We must recognized how our arguing and cursing one to another are results of evil demons living within us. As Christians, we must allow the Holy Spirit to produce good fruits in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23). We must overcome evil with good.
